TGIF

Don't let the weekend ruin your goals!

Here are a few tips to keep in mind and not lose track over the weekend.

--Work a little harder Friday.
Hit the gym, add a few extra crunches, an extra mile on the treadmill or even a few extra minutes on the bike. Burning those extra calories will make you feel a little more guilt free this weekend.

--Do yoga right when you wake up in the morning.
Yoga is a great exercise and gets the blood flowing through your body.Wake up 15 minutes eariler and do a few poses. Follow with a warm shower and healthy breakfast!!

--Drink lots of water!
Water makes you feel full. Keeping a water bottle on hand all day will limit the amount of food you intake, PLUS it keeps you hydrated. Drink up!

Just Do It!

I have 3 questions I want you to answer..

1. Who are you doing this for?

--I hope you say yourself.

2. Do you have support?

--Friends, family, blog family.

3. Why are you waiting to start?

--Tomorrow turns into next week, next week turns into next month.
Next month...next year.

JUST DO IT!

Simple Eats

Chicken Cheese Steak Stuffed Peppers

This recipe was simple and absolutely delicious!

What you need:
2 Green Peppers
2 boneless skinless chicken breast
1 small onion
4 pieces of sliced portabella mushroom (optional)
1/2 cup shredded low fat mozzarella cheese
2 T Worcestershire sauce

Precook the chicken. I used a crock pot so that the chicken could be pulled apart with a fork, but you can bake it and chunk it. Whatever you prefer. (left overs would work great!)
Prepare the peppers, clean out the seeds and cut in half.
Slice the onions and mushrooms.

When the chicken is fully cooked, pull apart (or chunk) and set aside.
Preheat the oven to 350 and place the green peppers to cook alone for 10-15 minutes
or until fork tender.
While the peppers are baking, saute the onions and mushrooms in a frying pan
sprayed with cooking spray (Pam).
Add the chicken to the onions and mushrooms followed by the 2 Tsp
Worcestershire sauce (or to taste).
Mix together and put the mixture inside the peppers.
Top with cheese and bake until the cheese starts to brown.

Dish and ENJOY!

I go a walkin'...

Exercise for today:
1.25 mile walk outside.

It was way to gorgeous to not get outside!
Take advantage of the perfect weather to get out of the house.
What exercise did you do today?

Dinner:
Steak, salad (salsa for dressing), grilled veggies!

High protein meals are more filling. Remember a portion size for meat is 4 ounces!

I couldn't agree more...

HAHA Love this!

I figured I should post something today, but I am behind because I didn't have a typical morning.
Breakfast was on the go an apple held me over.
Now to figure out what to do at the gym.

**Don't forget you don't have to go to the gym to exercise.
Washing your car and doing constant chores around the house burns calories too.
Shh...Don't tell my mom that!
